Lon's New Years Eve Tarot Oracle

From The Book of Ordinary Oracles

Here’s a tarot oracle designed to be used on New Years Eve, birthdays or on the eve of any year-long endeavor.   As the 'Invocation' (below) uggests, you must have a wish or a goal in mind before you select a card. The card then ‘answers’ not with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ or a warning or a prediction, but by revealing the catalyst can transform your life in the coming year, to make you the person worthy of you heart’s desire.

This oracle uses only the 22 classic Trump cards (plus an extra Trump I added just for fun) and the 4 Aces. (Tonight... you must use the Trumps, Aces and one 'wild' card from your own deck Tarot Cards). Good luck and Happy New Year from the DuQuettes!

I decided to use the Pamela Colman Smith/Waite Reissue.

Very interesting. Joining two separate card pulls with the same focus in my mind. Received the message: "What is below corresponds to what is above. What is above corresponds to what is below." I have no clue what that really means except for seeing it like that.

1st drawn: XI Justice.    2nd drawn: II The High Priestess.

"...the pillars of Justice open into one world and the pillars of the High Priestess into another." -- Arthur Edward Waite.

I still say..."Huh? Okay."
