Lise McClendon's Biography

After more than twenty years of writing fiction the practice has become as natural and essential as breathing to me. I have published eight novels, including my latest, Jump Cut (written as Rory Tate.) With a group of talented women I adapted a short story into a short film. My background is in film and broadcasting -- as well as a sociology degree -- but I have concentrated on writing fiction in the long form for some time. I find it satisfying and demanding, a rich experience in the subconscious and the human condition.
