 I just thought you should do it.  You’ve been wanting this ever since you were a little girl and saw the picture of Grace Metalious on the back of your mom’s copy of Peyton Place. 

I know, but I’m not sure it’s the right time.  Get it??  Write time??

I think you’re making excuses.

Why do you say that?

 Well, first it was “when I get a typewriter” and you got a typewriter and still didn’t do.  Then is was ‘when I get a word processor” and then “when I retire and have more time”. Now you have everything you need and you still won’t do it. 

But I’m scared.

 You’re always scared. 

But what if everyone out there is smarter than me?  What if everyone out there can do it better than me?  Then what?  Huh?  Then what?  Another failure to add to my list?
