Linda H. Bucklin's Biography

Linda Bucklin is a writer, champion tennis player, wife and mother of three grown sons. She is also the daughter of the late Prentis Cobb Hale (1910-1996), a powerful retail executive who lived in San Francisco. She coauthored COME RAIN OR COME SHINE (1999), a nonfiction collection of women's stories of friendship. She has served as a trustee of Grace Cathedral and as an associate regent of the Kenmore Museum, part of the George Washington Fredericksburg Foundation. For some years a nationally ranked tennis player, in 2006 she became #1 nationally in 60 mixed doubles. Summers, Linda spends time pursuing her passion of fly fishing and camping on the North Fork of the Blackfoot River in Montana.
