Leslie Carlucci's Biography

I retired from the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration just over one year ago.  I worked for the state for over 31 years and decided that I wanted to retire and get a part-time job.  The day that I retired I had a PET scan performed.  The PET scan revealed that I had stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  So I have fought the better part of this past year fighting the cancer.  I'm happy to say that the cancer is in 100% remission.

I would like to join Red Room for two reasons.  The first reason is because I love to read.  I read constantly for me it is a passion.  My second reason for wanting to join is that I am beginning to write.  I write because I love to do so and I am always paying attention to what others have to say about the writing craft.

I do not want to join to be a nuisance.  I wish to join in intelligent conversations about the writing craft, to listen, and to learn.  Thank you for your time.
