LEN AND THE GREAT E-BOOK ADVENTURE
squirrelsecrets cover.jpg

I’ve been away from Red Room for a couple of weeks. Not intentionally. It’s just that I’ve been consumed by the advance marketing of my forthcoming e-book, which I am self-publishing in an attempt to attract the attention of an ink-on-paper publisher.

I’ve been on Facebook for a while, so it didn’t take me long to figure out that I could promote the book through the “notes” function, and by creating a page for the book that’s linked to my personal page, as well as to Twitter.

Twitter is another story. I had signed up for Twitter a couple of years ago, but just didn’t get it. And, I must admit, I still don’t quite get the attraction. Even so, I started tweeting again last week and managed to attract 115 followers with teaser tweets about the book.

If you’d like to follow me on this great e-book adventure, add me (Len Boswell) as a friend on Facebook or follow me (@simonsilverback). In case you’re wondering about that name, Simon Silverback is the squirrel who wrote the book, which is called The Leadership Secrets of Squirrels.

Thanks!

Well, it's going to be interesting. And as I said before, if a publisher doesn't pick up the book, I'll at least have some coffee money. Amazon pays royalties of 70% if you keep the cost of the e-book under $9.99.

If I may

How did you find that out - about Amazon, I mean. By the way, look for my friend request on FB.

Detective Work

It's all on Amazon, but it takes some looking. Go to Amazon. Search under the "Kindle Store" for any topic. Then go to the very bottom of the page and you'll see "Self-Publish with us" or something like that. Click on that and you'll get all the details. They even have a video instructing you on how to upload your files, etc.

Happy to have you as a friend on Facebook.
