It was a hot day last Friday when we motored up to Sterling House, an assisted living facility and my home away from home, to meet with a reporter from our local newspaper. I was to be interviewed for a special article!
I decided to wear my official therapy vest for the initial meet and greet, but I brought along my nurse's outfit for a change of costume.
Mom and I and the reporter, Miss Francine, sat in the living room with residents coming and going to talk about my career as a therapy dog. We covered my 9 year + career from my start at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH to my current work at Sterling House as well as my latest assignment for our local county hospice program.
