I have always had a diverse range of interests and skills. I only learned the meaning of the word, eclectic, because so many people used it to describe me! Accordingly, my personal and professional interests constitute a seemingly disparate mix.
My book, ‘Office 2010 ExpertEase’ is a product of my IT training background, and my innate need to ‘solve problems’ – in writing it, I have solved my transition problems to Office 2010 – I hope it does the same for my readers.
I am also a Naturopath and Remedial Masseur – so I split my work time pretty much 50:50 between my clinic and my IT work.
My creative side has me flitting back and forth between making unique jewellery, leadlighting, restoring furniture, making furniture, dabbling in Art (all sorts), formulating ‘lotions and potions’ made without ‘nasty’ ingredients and whatever captures my interest at the time.
Life is a wonderful journey and I intend to experience as much of it as I can.
I love bike-riding, swimming, hiking, 4WD-ing, camping and generally exploring places I've not been before.
I love 'making things'. A 'would-be-carpenter’ – I love working with timber – and have now restored two properties entirely by myself - plastering, tiling, building decks, installing doors, leadlighting, removing walls. I also make jewellery, furniture - whatever takes my fancy at the time!
I also love to dance, and have done so in many forms since I was a child. For the past 3 years, I have also been a member of a professional bellydance troupe.
