Moments of a Writer's Life, #108

The Moment I Loved A Cover: When asked for my input on the cover for Secrets of My Suburban Life, the book whose title I still have trouble remembering myself, I said I’d like something with a house on the cover and that it should have a surreal aspect to it. I got my house, a yellow house that looked like a game piece, with a picket fence in front of it. It was insanely adorable and charming. Sometimes publishing gets it right, leaving the author with nothing to complain about. You should look it up to see. Trust me, I would not love all my covers like I loved this cover.
