If you decide to say “So what?” to publishing and publish yourself, be sure your book is properly formatted and edited beforehand, for while it’s true that one of the joys of self-publishing is that you can change almost anything at any time, it’s still also true that you only get to make a first impression once and you don’t want potential readers’ first impression of you to be one-star Amazon reviews that complain about unprofessional formatting and poor spelling/grammar.
