She lived and worked in Austin, Texas as a Public Relations and Public Affairs Counselor at Read-Poland Associates, now Cohn-Wolf Read-Poland. When child #1 came along, she quit the high life for a home-based consulting business in strategic communications. Child #2!
A Move to San Francisco!!!
Child #3. (???)
Life in California directed her focus to the possibilities of Hollywood. (That, plus her desire to maintain some semblance of a brain while raising three daughters.) She wrote a screenplay about famed athlete Babe Didrikson Zaharias, which earned a semi-finalist award at the 2008 Moondance Film Festival.
She regularly reads her pieces about motherhood at the Writing Mamas spoken word event, The Mama Monologues. Her blogs can be found on the Writing Mamas website, www.writingmamas.com.
To keep her resume current, she continues her work as a communications consultant and serves as Director of Marketing and Advocacy for Vikarea, Inc., a clean-tech sourcing agency. She lives with her husband and daughters in Greenbrae, California.
