I'm finally finished with my first draft of The Accidental Guru and am hurtling into the second whilst all my mental notes on the revision are fresh in my mind.
Luckily, I can see where cuts need to be made and this will hopefully speed up the process. It's been so long since I started it, I've forgotten a great deal of the scenes I'd written so I've gone back to it as a reader rather than as a writer. This makes it easier to judge the flow of the work and, I must say, I'm pretty pleased with the way it looks.
Can't wait to edit now and get The Accidental Guru out to agents. Fingers crossed
