Part 1

It's Monday and I'm thinking that my first name needs to be changed to Insanity. Not because of taking on the NaNo challenge but because of all the craziness of my personal life (i.e. KIDS!) that is driving me bonkers.

I've managed one paragraph so far today and I'm about to run screaming for the hills because my two kids, both under 10, are bickering, throwing tantrum and otherwise being disruptive.

It's times like these when I wish I had a three-bedroom place so that I could go lock myself away for thirty minutes of much needed peace.

The second week has wound down and I've managed to get only 2500 words done. Good thing for the fast start the first week. Otherwise I'd be hurting. I will have to haul butt to hit the 50,000 but I am determined to do so.

So bring it on week 3!
