It's been a while since I've posted (even though I have been writing more than ever) but here is something I think the Red Room community might like. In this article published by the Christian Science Monitor I argue that everyone involved in the negotiations related to the fiscal cliff could use some humility. I demonstrate the power of humility in negotiations by referencing the split between Madison and Hamilton over the national bank and also reference Franklin's advice on how to be more persuasive.
