Celebrating one year of writing together, six writers will share their stories at “Gibson Writers Read,” on Sunday, October 14, 2012, 3 to 5 p.m. at the historic Gibson House at 512 Gibson Road in Woodland, California. This month marks the first anniversary of the Gibson House Writers. The Yolo County Historical Museum began sponsoring the monthly writing group in October of 2011. Members read and critique one another's work in fiction, nonfiction, and memoir.
At the Sunday reading, Board President Karen Lafferty will make the opening remarks. The reading is free, open to the public, and takes place outdoors on the Gibson House patio. Refreshments will be served at the social hour that follows the reading.
