Kristi Maxwell's Biography

Born in Tennessee, I currently live and write in Cincinnati, where I'm pursuing a doctorate in English at the University of Cincinnati. My first book of poems, Realm Sixty-four, was published through Ahsahta Press in 2008, and my chapbook Elsewhere & Wise is out with Dancing Girl Press. My second book, Hush Sessions, was published by Saturnalia in 2009. I received an MFA from the University of Arizona. When not writing, I like to practice kung fu with another poet.
