Performing an occult operation such as a pentagram ritual entails detailed knowledge of precession. The Cartesian house system is in itself a guide to all pentagram rituals that may be performed on any altitude on this Planet, spacecraft and alien stellar systems as well.  
If  there was some occult operation performed as alien to the laws of solar system dynamics, then there was no operation at all.
Where cardinal stars, archangels and compass points were inadequately distributed, there was no occult operation at all.
An occultist that does not perform on all three planes according to the laws of precession is not an occultist at all: possibly only someone waving one's hands while imagining the wrong things. As even summoning the “proper” demon entails excellent precession, nobody ever summoned one: that no one noticed can not serve as any contrition, proof or validation at all.
That no one noticed that the set of only twelve zodiacal signs does not rise at east does not prove that said superstition is viable at all.

The devil will of course deny solar system geometry from its bottomless hate towards the solar system, mathematics and sphere geometry. The devil will deny precession. The devil will mangle all ritual. The devil will fix the Sun forever in Aries for the spring equinox. The devil will keep the ascendant wheel at one stop: a fictitious set of twelve zodiacal stops.   
The devil will tell you that NASA must be wrong in order for faux ritual to be performed and kept as tradition.
The devil will tell you that there is another sky, the devil's own sky, where everything is still: soothing, nothing changes and everything is dead. You don't want to be saved in the first place, all you want is to fit in and climb to the top. Nothing is such a misfit as an earthly star as adored for its misdeed. The cult of sin is being human. Now, even precepts that go against every religion and common sensei are sanctioned by the law of men as default mind calls itself demoncracy.
