Kirsten Anderson is a full-time freelance writer and editor.
As an editor, she has worked for a variety of different publications, both freelance and staff. In college, she served as both Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Ha'Am Newsmagazine, the only student-run newspaper for the Jewish community west of the Mississippi. She is currently in training as a prospective Suspense Editor for Rebel Tales, the start-up genre literary magazine founded by Holly Lisle.
Kirsten has also developed a how-to-write-fiction course, based on her experience freelance-editing novel manuscripts for publication. The course can be purchased at her website, www.thewriterscentral.com.
As a writer, Kirsten has publication credits in every field imaginable, from screenwriting to poetry to journalism to copy. She published her first short story at the age of 21, and has been appearing in literary journals around the world ever since. Among her current projects are a mystery novel, set in 16th century Palestine; a collection of her published poems; a fantasy screenplay adaptation of a novel for preteens; and a series of old-time radio plays.
