I could be crazy, maybe even insane. My husband at times thinks I'm certifiable. Any woman who has two little ones, a mother with AD, elderly grandparents, four fish tanks, and two cats to tend to during any given day, must be nuts to try and write a novel in one month. But I've decided to try and do just that.
I toyed around with the idea of joining NaNoWriMo, a site dedicated to the National Novel Writing month in November, last year and decided not to. I thought I just didn't have the time because of all the holidays. This year, though, is different because I decided that since I care for so many, I should also try to care for myself. NaNo is helping me do just that by carving out a little chunk of time to each day to write to my hearts content.
I truly hope to finish my novel by the end of the month. But even if I don't, I know I'm at least trying and that's good too.
