I am a writer and an illustrator whose love of animals inspires my work. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Creative Writing. I write poetry and novels dipped in fantasy. I've lived throughout the United States, originating in Buffalo, New York, where I wrote as a poet, songwriter and novelist. The close-knit artist community in Buffalo prepared me well for my relocation to Nashville, Tennessee, which I now call my home. I am a proud Associate Member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
I have been influenced in my most recent work (and all my life) by Elyne Mitchell and Madeliene L'Engle. Also, I enjoy most of Hunter S. Thompson's work, thought perhaps the influence in this series is not that obvious. Willie Morris and William Jordan round out my current influences.

Writing, photography, digital art, animals, cats... the human-animal bond. I enjoy reading biographies, fantasy, occasional real life romance, political genres.
