This week was rich in interviews. I interviewed Kim Barnes on Wednesday, Jessica Morrell on Friday, Diana Abu-Jaber on Friday, and Jennifer Lee Carol on Friday. Today, I interviewed Kevin Young, in Portland to promote 'Dear Darkness', his latest collection of poetry. Always fascinating, his poetry is some of the best I've read, heard, and tried to emulate. The other authors mentioend here are amazing, too. I interviewed Stanley Plumly on September 29 about his book Posthumous Keats: A Personal Biography. Fantastic interview. This month on the Literary Cafe', I ran the interview with Brian Hall on his richly textured novel 'Fall of Frost'. He is not a poet, but he captured Robert Frost meticulously. Have a beautiful October. ~Kerri
