As a community columnist, Kenya wrote with an edgy, readable, contemporary style that engaged readers and kept them interested. One story that stands out in my memory was about the hypersexualization of children and society and its negative impact. That column received a huge number of hits on the Journal Sentinel’s Web site. Normally, opinion page articles don’t rank very high (or at all) with online readers, but that column rivaled even sports stories for the week. Quite an accomplishment. ”
