Born & raised in St. Louis and lived in rural Missouri 35 years. Educated mostly in history. Mostly employed in government research & planning work. Retired. Married 31 years...now widowed and that's hard but I have a wonderful daughter. Recently moved to a small "hacienda" in New Mexico but would move to Umbria if I could afford it. Have a 22 lb. cat named Watson. Write for pleasure or for friends. I keep five blogs and write fairly often. Write haiku when on long road trips. I spend a lot of time with photography but I need to fish more.
I admit I'm not much of a writer. I'm an observer of things, events and people around me and all of that goes into the process of living and writing. I write often...even though I may be my only reader. I have five blogs mainly because that is the easiest way to go right now. Usually it's about travel, commentary, Haiku, rants and photography.
travel, fly fishing, tai chi, bocce, cooking, photography, kites, reading, music, bonsai, blogging, haiku, language, walking, etc.
