Let me introduce Oohashi Yousuke, a Body Poetry instructor.
When he is in Japan and not performing, he teaches his class at Shinnakano in Tokyo. The best part of his workshops is that we have great fun together. We are free to express ourselves and solve problems. Once we wrote poems, and all went to a park at night. In the darkness, we watched the instructor zip across the park from far. A dark shadow went in and out of trees. It was mesmerizing.
Yesterday, I was explaining about Body Poetry to my daughter. I told her that one of Oohashi Yousuke’s students said, “His workshops should be taught in every prison. Crimes will go down!” I said, “I agree with her.” Right then, my daughter told me about the inmates dance in Philippines, which was my previous blog.
If you have a chance to take his class, try it. Just to know him is therapeutic.
