That’s fun to think about. Maybe when Girl has her picnic in the wild prairie. She hangs out with Dottie, the elderly woman from Bonesteel, Nebraska. If they ever make a movie of the book, it is this scene I most want to see - the contrast of Girl with her dragon tattoo and Dottie with her yellow bonnet, all smashed up against the big Nebraskan sky and the tall prairie grasses.
