Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well (1 John 5:1).

Seeing a new baby always gives hope as the new life has so many possibilities. They are so delicate, yet there is strength from inside that makes them want to survive and to grow. Babies are a wonderful gift not only to a family, but really to all of us as we relate to them. Each person is so valuable and has something to offer.

This Christmas, think about the hope in the gift of Jesus. Imagine yourself sitting by the manger looking upon him and wondering about the talents he will have, his character and personality, and the promise of God read by the prophets. Meditate on the little baby given to us to save a world.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the precious gift of Jesus. I pray that I can unwrap the gift again anew this season. God came to us as a baby. Amen
