There is a silver lining to the economy being in the crapper, and it's love. According to my publisher, a lot of people are buying my latest gift journal - What I Love About You - for their sweethearts this holiday season. That's good if it means they're not buying Hummers this year, right?
Maybe we're getting back to what matters most: people we love. And what we can afford. A $14 book (less on amazon) is waaaaay cheaper than diamonds (don't you hate that "Every kiss begins with K" jingle?). I'm happy if people are discovering inexpensive ways to let their special person know how much they are cherished.
Happy Holidays to you and your significant other!
