Karen Hunt, a native of California, is the co-founder of InsideOUT Writers, a nationally acclaimed creative writing program for incarcerated youth in Los Angeles. Karen has traveled all over the world as a child and adult and has lived in England, Slovenia, Switzerland and France. Her martial arts and weapons training is a life-long pursuit. Karen is currently writing an urban fantasy series called Night Angels and a nonfiction book called Screams From Purgatory. She has written and illustrated nineteen children's books, including the best-selling Rumpoles & Barelys series, published with Harvest House.
