It was warm sunshine on cold skin.
It was like soft raindrops on my tongue or like every romantic first rolled into one.
Like my first kiss, the first time I held hands, or my first slow dance.
It was more than love it was romance.
It was like a magnetic bond no amount of time could break.
I could feel you way deep in my soul and hoped...

Yesterday, I had one of those truly awesome parental moments. My six year-old son, Isaiah lost his first tooth. He was so excited to be getting a visit (and some money) from the tooth fairy that he went to bed early. I waited until I knew he was good and asleep, crept into his room, took the tooth from under his pillow and replaced it with a nice crisp dollar...
