The Cruise Liner
Look and behold
The colossal ship up close
This is the closest you’ll ever be
For now
Look at them aboard
They seem to be getting ready
All things have been packed up
All are set to go
This is absurd
For no one is waving goodbye
Not from below, not from up high
They seem not to cry
Their eyes are steadfast
With siren lips of prayers
This is what moves the ship
This is what propels it
It is moving, and moving all along
Don’t take your eyes off it
Pray for it, pray for them
That they may find their comfort
Hear the music play
Feel the grandeur, the majesty
Ah, yes, reminiscing
Their never-forgotten glory
Look and behold
This colossal ship up close
As it enters the mist of certainty
The cloud of eternal peace
