Born and bred in Maryland, former resident of New York City, Julie now resides in Los Angeles. An actor, Julie wrote her first solo show, SALOME OF THE SOUTH for her thesis project at graduate school (Old Globe Theatre/USD). She has worked Off-Broadway, in regional theatres around the country, and has made brief appearances in a couple of TV shows you've heard of and a bunch of short films you haven't heard of. An avid consumer of non-fiction, fiction, plays, essays, poetry, The New Yorker and the Op-Ed pages of the NY Times, the LA Times and the Washington Post, she harbors a secret desire to be a combination of Tina Fey, A.S. Byatt and Katha Pollitt with a splash of John Irving. That's not too much to ask, is it?
