Julie Royce's Biography

Every writer needs a support system to provide group therapy and encouragement. When I am ready to give up, a little chocolate and a few hugs don’t hurt either.  I find comfort and sometimes a kick in the pants from members of the California Writers Club, Tri-Valley Branch and from my critique group.

At today's CWC meeting our featured speaker lauded your site and said redroom.com was the place to read about what's going on in the world of writing. I realize I lack credentials, but am hopeful you'll permit me to enter your piece of cyberspace.

In my real life I was an attorney and for thirty years I limited my writing to legal briefs and memoranda. Determined to break that mold, I wrote Rx: Murder (working title), a current-day legal thriller that I will be sending to an editor this month. During Nanowrimo last year I completed the draft of a second crime fiction novel.
