In this strong and vulnerable collection of poetry, the poet spins out a thoughtful imagery of innocence and culpability, for (and of) "the users and the abused". Jules Jacob inhabits a dichotomous world, and with delicate magnetism, draws us into it, in each poem. ”

I hear whinnying
Jules, you silly, congratulations! Publication is good news, even if published in the bleak (not!) month of February. Perhaps the editor's love life disintegrated on Valentine's Day one year, but one way or another, three of your works will see the light of day. I think your high horse was somebody else's, and it has run back to the barn for hay.
Cheers,
Christine
Nay
Christine,
Thanks for you cheery comments. I'm always happy to see your comments. It's good that you hear whinnying not whining. I'm capable of both although my best whinnying years were ages two to five.
I've received two rejections since this post- my high horse is out to pasture.
