I’m pleased to announce three of my poems are featured in the spring issue of Grey Sparrow. They can be viewed online at Grey Sparrow.
My poem, Jellyfish Dance, was one of twelve poems selected for publication in Grey Sparrow’s print journal, including Our National Treasure Poet Robert Bly’s, It’s Morning Again. The journal is this year’s recipient of the Best New Literary Journal of the Year, a national award given by the Council of Editors of Learned Journals. Nicolas Birns of the CELJ said, “In a time when the print journal is thought to be in danger from economic and technological forces, Grey Sparrow has shown there is still room for innovation and excellence in the traditional journal mode.”
Grey Sparrow’s founder and Editor-in-Chief, Diane Smith was interviewed by Alyssa Palazzo at Long River Review. Read her interview and learn about Grey Sparrow’s rapid rise during the worst recession since the 1930’s here.
