Eating Grapes While Drinking Wine and Other Contrary Things I do
I can't figure out the appropriate way to post or blog an excerpt of my book.
I shouldn't (ut oh, danger ahead) place it in the official excerpt section because it hasn't been published. The danger in shouldn't is that each time I write or say the word I want to do what I shouldn't. I may as well cross off the n't because its worthless. The odds are high I'm probably going to end up doing whatever I shouldxxx be doing.
Although I'm contrary in nature, a natural state for satire writers, I decided to contemplate my situation and have some green, green grapes while drinking my glass of Chardonnay. Don't worry. I only perform my experiments with boxed wine so it's no big loss.
I could just plop the excerpt down, right here, right now. Splat. There you have it.
No, that seems as odd as eating sour grapes while drinking wine.
