A Taste of Rain
Blog Post by Judy Puckett - Nov.24.2011 - 9:11 am

It's starting to rain. The scent is so clear.
Gentle drops of rain Listen and you will hear,
As it gently falls like love's whisper in the ear, washing over the heart's flame, falling on an invisible shield ,
My hand touches the glassy pane,
As I look beyond to God's field,I hear the gentle drops of rain Rain drops fall so crystal clear,
Sometimes it reminds me of the heaven's tear,
I strain against the glass, my lips touch in vain,
When I close my eyes I almost taste the rain.
It cleanses the soul, and it washes away the pain,
When God sends to us a taste of rain.side note;John Wastnidge used my poetry lyrics for a song a taste of rain poetry lyrics as a song;urlhttp://www.jamwave.com/therose
