YU: A Ross Lamos Mystery

... of this neglected blog.  It's been a busy winter & spring, bringing the final illness and death of a beloved friend; news that my short story, "The Stronger" would be published in Bacopa, the annual literary journal out of the University of Florida in Gainesville. There is much to look forward to this summer: a reading  at a major independent bookstore in August and another at a hometown festival over Labor Day;  the Women's Writing Retreat at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, NM with the A Room of Her Own Foundation, also in August; and my first attendance at Bouchercon, the World Mystery Convention in St. Louis, in September.

My non-profit day job has put me into the mix of documentary film development and other media publicity for two of our projects.  And the short stories I've had marinating in the desk drawers are suggesting that they would be very happy together as two different book-length collections.

And, my mystery novel has now been e-pubbed at Smashwords.com, available to just about every e-reader format.

Oh, what you can find in the weeds when you just get out of your chair and take a walk!
