A lot of thoughts have been running through my head following the tragedies in Newtown, Colorado and many others cities over the past year. Sometimes words cannot explain the deep feeling of collective grief we as a nation, but not only that but also all people seem to feel, especially after the horrific events of the weekend. Call someone who you had bad words with and make up with them even if they were in the wrong. Write a beautiful poem. Spend time with friends. Find someone less fortunate than yourself and treat them to a warm meal and hot coco.
Now is the time to make the world a gentler place, a warmer place, a place where children no longer have to know fear.
“If not me, who? If not now, when?”
