Joshua Hudson's Biography
Member Info
Benjamin Franklin once said, “Write something worth reading, or do something worth writing.”
I can't decide whether I have done either yet. Nevertheless, I work at my craft, and I do what I can. I spent twenty years documenting with my camera and my pen for the Navy. I wrote some good stories, took some great photos, created some outstanding videos.
Some of my work is out there. Some of it is shrouded behind a classified wrapper. All of it me.
I no longer tell military stories-- I just tell stories. I like to tell people stories.
Influences
Influences? Wow.
Rudyard Kipling, Mark Twain, almost every well produced product on NPR (they are amazing story tellers), Robert Frost and Robert Heinlein (who reminds me that all good stories are about people, not places or things).
Upcoming Works
Writing feature stories and editing for various magazines while I look for more meaty work.
