Triangle Area Freelancers (TAF) will hold its first nonfiction symposium Write Now! 2008 Writers Conference at Wake Technical Community College's Northern Wake Campus on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Elizabeth Hudson, former editor of Our State magazine and current editor of the newly-launched North Carolina Signature magazine, will deliver the keynote address. The classes, taught by nationally published writers and journalists, are presented in two tracks: "Freelance Basics," which includes querying, interviewing, researching, and editing, and "Niche Writing" which will focus on humor and essay-writing, participatory journalism, and transferring ideas to the printed page. John will be conducting a workshop on internet research, entitled "Digging for Gold - Turning Internet Research into Magazine Gold."
