On Synchronicity, Timing and Divine Order.
It is so amazing how divine order is always at hand when it comes to being on time and in synchronicity with the Universe.
I was walking along my normal route to feed the homeless animals. Many people in my neighborhood know me as the animal man or rather, the cat man. The thought of being called the cat man at this ripe age of forty-three sounds so crazy to me; however, I view it as being an animal lover and I am grateful for the love that I give and receive from these creatures.
Usually people stop and say hello to me when I am on my route, but on this particular day one of the gentleman that saw me stopped and asked if I knew of anyone that can take his three cats in. He was being forced to move because he lost his job and he was heading back to his home town in Connecticut. He was very upset; not about going back home, but about having to leave his three cats behind. He was extremely close to them and I asked him, ‘why are you leaving them?’ He said that he could not afford to bring them on the plane and to get them to the vet for all their necessary vaccinations so that he could take them with him. My first thought was about this economic climate and how it has to change and get better. My second thought was to tell the man he should drive instead of fly in order to keep the cats. He replied that he would but he had no credit cards and could not afford to rent a car. So I said that we will find you a ride, and at that very moment (by all means this is real; I can’t even make this stuff up it’s to good) another gentleman that lives in the area walked by and said hello. I opened the conversation to ask him if he knew of anyone that was heading up to Connecticut. He said he knew a woman that lived next to him that was heading up to Rhode Island. Turns out, the car that we were standing in front of was hers. Originally the gentleman was going to drive up there with her so that she did not have to drive alone but he could no longer go with her. He said that in order to get to Rhode Island she had to drive through Connecticut. At that moment I looked at the sky and smiled because I knew divine order was taking place. This man with these cats was always a quiet man, just sitting outside his door with one of his cats in his hands, giving it all the love in the world. So we all decided to go and knock on this woman’s door to ask about the ride and this is what happened.
(Knock, Knock, Knock)
“Hello JT, how are you today?”
“I’m fine Eileen we are here to ask you something.”
“Ok would you boys like anything to drink?”
I introduced her to Paul, the man with the cats, and explained how Paul was looking for a way up to Connecticut with his three cats, and how Joe, the gentleman, had mentioned she was heading up there. She replied that indeed she was. Paul and Eileen spoke, and he is now driving her car up to Connecticut with his tree cats.
The moral of this story is to open up your eyes and ears and simply ask and trust that divine order is always at hand. Have faith and believe!
