Joanna Cerazy is a non-fiction author and researcher. She has an extensive background in European and world literature. She has taught both regular and special education in primary, elementary and secondary school contexts. She currently works as a special education consultant. She has led and actively participated in several major educational research projects. Recent research includes the skills and knowledge for inclusive education, teacher preparation and special educational policy. Her has recently published book - LEAD BABIES: Breaking the Cycle of Learning Disabilities, Declining IQ, ADHD, Behavior Problems, and Autism - dismantles and reframes previous notions about challenged learners and delinquent behavior. It explains the connection between the in-utero lead exposure and the growing incidence of learning and behavioral difficulties.
