Hope I make you laugh!

Hi JM Cornwell,

I always enjoy your blogs, and I really admire your talent!
Several months back I connected to a link that you provided to an online interview that you did with regard to one of your books. The interviewer was so awe struck by you that she was actually very gushy. (that would have been me!)You handled the situation with grace, humor, and kindness. You were already top notch in my book but you validated your professionalism once again in that interview. One more thing, when I back tracked to this blog to try to make you laugh, I read LEGACY. WOW!!! It was great.
Now my attempt to make you laugh.....

My six year old Grandson has his own cell phone. Many people scoff at the fact, but his Mother (my Daughter), has personal reasons for the purchase. Both his Mother and Father are estranged and when Josh(my Grandson) spends the day with his Dad, it is a comfort thing that he has the phone available. He doesn't carry it to school or on an everyday basis. Several weeks ago my Daughter's and Josh's calling plan provided upgraded phones. He is quite an independent soul and insisted that he could set up own voice mail on the new phone.Giving him privacy my Daughter could hear on speaker phone the prompt, "choose the command " and Josh immediately replied, "don't lie." The prompt was repeated several times and Josh made it clear, "don't lie." Of course, my Daughter eventually intercepted with help and didn't embarass Josh with the humor of the incident. But, JM, did we enjoy this story, and I guess that you could say, humor aside, Josh made his Sunday school teacher proud!
Have a great day! Keep inspiring!
