The Universe Goes on Strike

I love the universe, the way it is random and full of surprises.  This morning, we awoke to an email from the apartment rental office in Barcelona.  Turns out, a full on national strike the day we land on Spanish soil.  No limos.  No taxis.  Limited bus and rail service.

Let's just say I've pared down the luggage situation.

Also a surprise is that even though I think I managed to rent a car, I'm not worried.  For a change.  I'm assuming the universe will get us a ride.  Full of surprises that universe.

Another note is that despite my various psychosomatic illness of the past month, nothing untoward or bizarre happened at the wedding.  In fact, it was the best wedding I've ever been to!  In fact, the day went off without a hitch.  In fact, it was lovely, meaningful, even though it was perhaps a trifle hot.

I feel blessed, and if the universe decides that there won't be cabs for my honeymoon, so be it!

Adios!

Jessica

Hello MRS. Inclan!
I said a prayer to the Goddess of the Transportion to take good care of you and your beloved while abroad. So glad to hear that "the wedding" was the best in your life :) That makes good sense to me. I hope your honeymoon is even better. Please be safe and take good care of both of your selves...Anne Decker
