I have wonderful news to report! 
Red Room has been profiled in this week's issue of Publishers Weekly. The article is called "Red Room: Facebook for Authors?" and it is so great to be in their pages!

There were small corrections that had to be made. I let them know and I will now let our community know as well:

Craig Newmark’s name is Newmark, not Newmar. Alas, he is not related to Julie Newmar.

Our “friends” (social networking, a feature we call "Connections") feature made its debut last week.

The “groups” feature will make its debut in the next couple of weeks.

Our retail platform is already up. We are always looking for independent bookstores to work with us so readers can buy books from whomever they want, not just the big guys.

We also already have an events calendar so our authors can add their events, be it readings or a writing workshop they are teaching. Soon we will debut new and improved features for the calendar. 

The name of Ivory Madison’s previous venture is called Red Room Writers Society, not Red Room Writer’s School, although it was a school.

Yes, I am nitpicky, but I want to make sure all the correct information is out there for our readers to see.

Now I will go buy a couple of copies of Publishers Weekly. Tomorrow we'll have a party with Girl Scout cookies and root beer floats!
