where the writers are
I'm number one! I'm number one!

Two weeks ago I blogged about how weird rankings were, and how my ego was going out of control checking my Amazon ratings. I have calmed down and not obsessively checking anymore, thank God. But there are times when a person has to brag. Especially when she sees this:

Yep, I'm number one! And don't forget you can buy me here!!!

Congratulations on being number one!  I think we all check our numbers, and you are no exception....except you are:

            You are number one!

You are welcome...

and I think even J.K. Rowling still does housework (or did up until the last couple years) so you are in good company, in my opinion.

PS. a couple years ago, on amazon.jp (I had a lower ranking in Japan than the U.S), my book was posted under the banner/link "The Best of 2006"...and although it wasn't meant that way (had I clicked on the link, I would have found out what books were the best), I still printed it off.  It made me feel like my little book was "The Best" even if it wasn't meant that way.  Yours, however, is truly on the top!!
