Jeffrey W. Wallace, Chief Technology Officer, Carpe Occasio Technology Systems; M.S. (Mathematics), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; B.S. (Mathematics). Mr. Wallace has twenty five years of experience in unmanned systems, interoperability, artificial intelligence (AI), modeling and simulation (M&S), and high performance computing in a variety of academic, government, and industry positions. During his tenure as a civil service employee, Mr. Wallace was the chief architect or one of the senior systems engineers for five of the most complex software systems for the Department of Defense.

Mr. Wallace also led the development of a 5th generation, multi- purpose computer language, IMPORT, for use in complex system development featuring native AI support. He has written over 40 technical papers, and edited five books in modeling and simulation. Mr. Wallace served as the general or program chair for a number of International conferences specifically in AI, M&S and high performance computing. He served for three years as the Vice President for Membership for the Society for Modeling and Simulation International, and served on the Board of Directors for that organization, in addition to chairing the 50th Anniversary conference. He participated in the formation of the Modeling and Simulation Professional Certification Commission, and led the team that created the Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP) examination. He is currently the chair of the Emerging Concepts and Innovative Technologies subcommittee for the 2008 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference, the largest DoD affiliated conference. Mr. Wallace is also very active in the World Academy of Science and their events.
