Only within recent years have I taken writing seriously. In 2009, I had a short stint as a head writer and co-editor for a local magazine that only lasted one issue… most likely because the publication looked like less of a magazine and more of a C+ high school graphic design project. While my first "break in writing" may have died a horrible death, it wasn’t entirely in vain. Not long after, people soon began calling and emailing about contracting me out for speech writing and other freelance jobs.
I currently reside in the Milwaukee area where I have two blogs, a novel & nonfiction book in the works, a string of witty Facebook status updates... and a war against my tendency to use commas more than any five people should.
Typical to your average small-time writer in his mid-to-late twenties.
