In my 34 years of ministry, I have rarely seen such intense dealings of the Lord with his Church and HIs ministers. The Lord is not winking at the discrepancies and error that ministers have taken with the Word in order to support their doctrines, ideologies and love of money.
The Lord is not allowing the continuation of sinful vices in the lives of His leaders that He has given sufficient grace to change or to control such vices.
The Lord said to me, I am putting on the squeeze to deal with the greed. In that process many churches and ministers that are walking in obedience to My will might be affected, but their motives will also be put to test. What is the motivation for serving the Lord, is it money, or a love for God and His will and purpose. However, I will maintain that which I ordained.
If you serve God for what He pays you, you'd serve the devil if he paid you more.
We have seen a man, Barack Obama, I believe that God has raised up, break through barriers politically and socially that I never thought I would see in my lifetime. The convicting reality is that the Lord said to me that the Church should be doing the same thing---breaking down barriers in the spiritual realm.
It is time to take evaluation as far as where we are as spiritual leaders. We need to stop majoring in the minors and get back on track with the Lord in relation to our God-given calling and commission as it relates to the times.
"And that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof" (Romans 13:11-14).
