I’ve enjoyed a long career in higher education, serving as a dean of students at a community college in Maine, and as an adjunct instructor at the college level. Currently I am working as a grantwriting consultant for the Passamaquoddy Tribe, rural communities and non-profit organizations throughout Maine. I’m the author of an historical fiction, Billy Boy, the Sunday Soldier of the 17th Maine, and a children’s book, Remember Me, Tomah Joseph’s Gift to Franklin Roosevelt co-authored with Passamaquoddy historian, Donald Soctomah. I live in Falmouth with my husband Bill and an aging chocolate lab.
Donald Soctomah and I are working on another non-fiction, chidlren's story about a Passamaquoddy master canoe maker.
